intel core 2 duo temps

whats the max temp a core 2 duo e6600 can safely go to, just wondering is mine to high.
temps are

idle:
cpu 44
core 1 52
core 2 52

load:
cpu 51
core 1 65
core 2 65

are these fine

That's fine. Believe you me! Core 2 Duo under load can go upto around 75. So no worries there.

Temps are fine if you took the readings with tat

mine was idling at 57ish today, which is just not right. So new cpu fan here I come. Then maybe I can overclock too!

mines overclocked to bout 3ghz

I have the same at 3.15Ghz, and the load temp is 46 Degrees. Using a Tuniq. Those temps are fine. If you are using the Stock HSF, you can lower them if you buy a better aftermarket one. Theres plenty out there.
