Intel Core 2 Quad Q6400

Any ideas on a price or release date for the Q6400? Just read a magazine on Intels new models for this year looking very tasty.

not sure about the Quad 6400
The Q6700 is already out though, and about £650

Q6400 will be about $530, so about £270 here then i guess.

Q6300 and Q6400 should be on its way mid-2007, don't think price details have been released but the Q6600, which is currently around $850 but supposedly coming down to $530/£270 in Q2 (according to reports) should give you a fair idea.

One retailer has got it pre-order 23rd Jan at £546

Give it a couple of months and it will be around £300 on the bay. Looking at the Qx6700 it went from £764 to £646. In the bay they can be had for £500.
