I'm thinking of getting one of them new MacBookPros to do music/editing on, maybe a bit of video

These apparently feature Intel Core Duos. How do these babies differ to the Conroes?

Obviously less L3 cache (2meg instead of 4) - but what else?

Also i heard a rumour that the MacBook will be coming down in price soon. Can anyone confirm this?
