Intel Core i7 920 D0 stepping ?

Well it was supposedly on sale from March the 2nd but having had a look around it doesn't look like they are shipping until later in the month. Doesn't look like any of the normal review sites have managed to get one yet. All I saw was that you will need to update your BIOS. Not much help :(

I am interested in finding out about these new D0 stepping i7's also, as I would like to get one for my upcoming build...

I can't seem to find much information anywhere about them, but I would really like one for my build...

bump...

Does no one know anything about these D0 Stepping processors, and whether they are going to be available here at OcUK soon???

Scuttlebutt is they've nerfed it because too many people were buying 920 and not enough people buying the more expensive 965.

Is the Intel Core i7 965 3.2GHz Nehalem Extreme Edition going to be changed as well to a different stepping

Will they new stepping processors actually get listed as being the D0 stepping, or will we not know which stepping our processors are until we buy them??

I sure would hope that they were listed as the new stepping models when they come on sale here, I personally dont like buying parts from anywhere else except OcUK, but if I can't get a D0 stepping i7 from here, I will just shop around until I find somewhere that has them in stock...

Theres a new high end processor coming, the i7 975. think its due out in may.

Going to be expensive then! is the base clock going to be 3.4 on these do you know?

I think suppliers will list the DO steppings when the CO/C1 run out, else they will never shift them otherwise

Been reading a bit on xtremesystems about people with ES DO chips and it seems they dont clock that much better if at all than the CO/C1 but run a bit cooler
