Intel Core i7 920 D0 Stepping

ok thanks imgoing for the noctua
and could you tell me what ghz should i run my i1 920 at to stop bottle-necking in games
would 3.2ghz be enough?
 
you can push it further to even 4.0GHz if you're feeling adventurous :D I have mine with a Noctua but I have bought the TRUE now and when that arrives I am swapping the coolers over as I have been well informed the TRUE cools better than the Noctua so lets hope this is the case...and of course I still have my Asus Deluxe V2 just sitting doing nothing so might give this a test run again and see how it goes as I am currently using the P6T SE :D

Even at 3.2GHz I would highly doubt your games will bottleneck...I have mine at 4.0GHz and my games love it :D
 
+1 For the TRUE.

Sitting nicely at 4ghz with HT on.

Still lowering my volts but its at 42 degrees idle and into the mid to high 70's at full pelt during benchmarking.
