Intel Core i7 "Ivy Bridge-E" and Core i3 "Haswell" Series Detailed

^I'd wait for reviews on the dark before buying, the current line of evga x79 boards were nothing short of a disaster.

Hopefully they've sorted it as I like the look of the dark my self.

Four figured sum for the top of the range one! This hobby just gets more expensive.

I hope the 4960x offers a bit more performance than the 4930k this time round.

My 3930k kicks sand in the faces of both my 3960x and 3970x, twice the price for less performance I am sure it's not supposed to work that way.:)

All black rampage, would be all over that :D

Was it the r3 that got a black edition? As that was stunning!!

Yes

What is also interesting is that X58 got three different Rampage Extreme boards, the RIIE, RIIIE and the black edition. So far all we have had for X79 is the RIVE.

It's hard to comprehend that the socket 2011 platform is nearing its two year life span now. It feels like I just upgraded to it yesterday - still lots of life in it, and that makes me pretty happy with the larger investment back then :)
