Nope. Each motherboard will only support a particular socket.

You need to match the processor to the socket.

To make things a little more confusing for new processors, you may need the latest motherboard as they aren't always compatible. 1151 socket for example doesn't mean it can accept a 9th gen Intel CPU, you need to pay attention to the chipset in this case.

Not at all they won't physically fit each others socket but that hasn't stopped people in the past from crushing one in then asking for help.
