Intel CPU / Socket road map?

So if I'm looking to upgrade over the next 6 months or so, what should I be looking at socket / CPU wise? ie: Is there something coming out in the next six months that I should wait for?

ps: I've said Intel, as I've always gone Intel in my main PCs...
 
The only one with anything new in the next 6 months should be AMD (Assuming we class FM2+ as new) and possibly a new desktop socket from them.

Intel will be 1150 (Which tbh, isn't brimming with life) and it's been out for the past few months, and it's very much an unknown what it's not getting or is getting in relation to the current chipsets, except a 2014 haswell refresh.
