Intel CPU uCode Loading Error??

Hi,

Just put my K8V Deluxe and E6850 together and when I start my computer I get an error message that says "Intel CPU uCode loading error, Press F1 to resume".

Anybody got any ideas what the problem is as when I press F1 its fine.

doesn't recognise the CPU, a bios update should solve it.

Can you update the bios with a usb stick?

I would have thought that the P5K Deluxe would recognise an E6850 without needing a BIOS update.

And yes you can use a USB stick. You should also be able to do it through Windows.

Well I updated it to 0404 through a USB stick in the bios and it worked perfectly . Thanks for the quick response guys.
