Intel D975XBX (badaxe)

I have started ordering components for my new system. I've ordered a D975XBX but have a question regarding the connectors.

http://www.intel.com/products/motherboard/pix/d975xbx_lg.jpg

If you look in the very bottom right of the pic you'll see the processor power connector. I haven't seen a connector of that shape before, do ATX 2.2 PSU's have this?

edit - title changed to avoid confusion

This board has now arrived.

Stuff it comes with:-

Rounded IDE Cables
SATA cables
USB backplate
A 3.5" drive bay module that has audio, mic, 2 x usb and 1 x firewire on it. Sort of a waste really as most cases have these ports anyway - they should give out card readers or something!

This also comes with an adapter that converts an old style 4 pin CPU power connector to the 8 pin one! Will post a pic tonight.

I will attempt to overclock but only using the software that intel supplies. I've seen the conversation between yourself and stelly in the mobo forum, does the writing on the white sticker on the mobo denote the version number? Mine ends in 304.

EDIT - Question answered in CPU forum.

I've preordered an x6800 from OcUK for this board.

I'm also going to order this from OcUK:-

Coolermaster Mystique 631 Silver (No PSU) (CA-098-CM)
Seasonic S12 600W Silent ATX2.2 Power Supply (CA-002-SS)

What memory should I get for this? I'm going to be overclocking but only using the intel control centre or setting cpu multiplier so it won't be anything extreme.

I have two 7900 GT's from my shuttle SN26P. I'll need the bridge chip if it does work. If not I'll just use one of the cards and then change when it's really necessary.

Mine did come with a lot of documentation, I know for a fact because it's in my magazine basket next to the toilet (got bored of private eye). I'll give more details when I get back home tonight.
