I've got a Z97X Gaming 5 and I've had a boost from changing from official Gigabyte driver posted on their site to a later version direct from intel.

I would like to get the 1.5Mb Intel management engine, USB extensible driver and any intel rapid storage update after 13.6.2.1001.

When I go to the intel download center - I almost get to download and it says download location has changed. I've been unable to locate where its gone, anyone can link it?

menu > support> downloads and drivers > browser driver

That's the way in to find any of the three above.

Looks like their link isn't valid, have you tried using their Driver Update Utility ?

The USB 3.0 driver is dated 17th April so maybe someone did a rush job on Friday and didn't get the job finished/right before going home for the weekend !

I haven't done any auto install. I guess I will be patient till they fix the link.

Not sure about MEI as they all seem to be for specific Intel products.

Got it tested, with crystal mark on USB and SSD; nothing overwhelming. I tested my SSD with 13.5 before I installed 13.6.0 and compared to the time I tested the same driver it was worse. Newer driver wasn't as good as the first bench but better than what I just tested.

I have a 13.6.2 but I prefered 13.5.

The difference between them aside I think my Sandisk X300 write speed is a bit low. I asked on their forum, didn't get much help:
