Intel DP35DPM "Dragontailpeak"

had good experience with intel bad axe, doesnt clock overly well but extremely stable and reliable, thats what im after

well it's one of there media series boards so it will be mind numbingly stable but have 0 overclock options, just like it's little brother the DG33TL TowerLake mobo. which i have in a media pc. as stable as the rock of gibraltar, but nowt to shout about in the speed stakes. :p

I think you're thinking of the Intel G33 board, this is the P35 board so will more likely be overclockable.

If I was going to get an Intel board i'd just go for the Bonetrail board, i've heard some reasonably good things about it, although it ONLY has USB ports, no PS2.

nope i'm not & it won't be. ;)

the fact that it's a P35 board doesn't come into it, it's a media series board & not an extreme series board, so it has zero overclocking options in the bios, how ever, if you know different then feel free to prove me wrong. clicky clicky

No no, I don't know. :)

I just assumed that you were talking about the G33 board as it's normally that chipset which is associated with media centers and the like.

I guess if you want overclocking then you'll have to go all the way up to the Bonetrail board.
