Hey all, I've never overclocked a CPU in my life, and wouldn't mind learning how...

With a nice 28 degree idle temp and a 38 degree load temp, I think it seems safe to OC it.

I don't want to OC too much, 2.2GHz seems safe to me, but I'm not sure :p

Anyone mind helping me out? :)

The chip should be good for 3.2ghz+ if you push. With good cooling and motherboard/ram of course. What mobo do you have?

The oc guide sticky is a must read for all the basics. If you're still having difficulties afterwards then post your settings here :)

I read it, but I don't understand considering I'm a "noob" With OC'ing...

Hence wanting to learn.

3.2GHz is pretty damn good...
My mobo is a Foxconn 45CMX.
