Are any of the Intel CPU's energy efficient?

I am looking to put together an Intel CPU / Mobo (Onboard Graphics or use my GeForce 9400 GT).

Can someone show me which Intel CPU's are very energy efficient? Don't worry about budget! I will need a CPU/MOBO/Ram

What are your requirements exactly? You could look at the new Clarkdale cpu's (e.g. i5 660) which have a TWP of 73W. Personally I'm waiting for the 860S (quad core at 82W).

It may also be worth considering the AMD chips depending on your power requirements - some of the Phenom II's are 65W TWP while some of the Athlon II chips are 45W

The atom is pretty efficient. There's always the option of getting an i3 and underclocking and undervolting it, not sure what mobo would be best with it though.

The most energy efficient in the intel lineup currently would be the i3 530, I would pair this with a Gigabyte UD2H a good value board which still allows a nice little overclock if its required
