Intel g3258 overclock

No idea, anything that keeps the system stable and the CPU temps not too high?

I would have thought a 4.5GHz clock would be achievable quite easily

Increase the multiplier, test to see if it's stable. Keep going ANd once instability is reached add more voltage until temps go out of control and increase the multiplier at the same time

Is there a good overclocking guide or is it same with every cpu/mobo?

If you youtube a guide, i'm sure you can find a good one. You have to read up about the motherboards you are looking at because they might have different names for the same function. Not to mention a different layout.
