INtel getting sued lol :)

Dual core is an English language term that just means something with two cores. It's a description not a brand name. There is no case! If the company had already patented the brand "Core2Duo" then yes, but this will fall on its face.

Im still wondering where the 1 million dollars compensation comes from. How do they decide a number ? Besides 1 million dollars to intel probably isn't a lot.

100% all about the money! I think they'll lose and the other company will go bankrupt with the huge legal fees ¬_¬ Waste of Intel's time..

<subtle sarcastic tone>
Im So So worried about intel now, i might have to support them by buying one of there famous quad core range processors.

I really don't see where there is a case to answer.
Dual Core is a pretty generic term and that isn't the name of the product anyway.
Core
Core Duo
Core 2 Duo
Core 2 Quad
These are the four actual names for product Intel have used.
Case closed I'd say.

Poor excuse considering the name of the aticle is "Intel sued over Dual Core name". ;)

this is good news, what it means is that no manufactuer intel or amd can make dual core cpus, they have to stick to quad core or more, this is probably why amd are looking at the triple core solution.

:p

You blatantly know nothing of the medical conditions of dislexcia. Infact isn't not even the only problem i have with reading and spelling but i cant be bothered in going into that. The reason i spell a lot better on here is because my fingers have got into patterns for typing each word because i have spent so long typing. When i hand write my spelling and hand writing is atrocious (had to use a spell checker for that one).
Further more considering skim read the title why would that mean that all of a sudden i can spell the word. Infact, if i could spell words properly just by looknig at them. Then why the **** would i even have problems with reading and spelling?

I dont appreciate people pointing out when i make spelling mistakes when i cant help it. But then to argue the reasons for me making them just makes u ignorant and insulting.

Gee take the **** out of people that cant help how they spell... does it help inflate your ego?

If you can understand what im saying why should i need to copy and paste every word i might make a mistake on.

Have the desentcy and admit you were in the wrong to critize me when i cant help how i spell. Obiously an apology would have been to hard to give instead you had to have another dig.

I guess dyslexia isn't your only issue, if you get this worked up over a spelling correction... Keep feeling sorry for yourself if you wish, but exageratting the situation isn't going to make anyone care. Grow a thicker skin. ;)

Try having people constantly point out how youve spelt insignificant words wrong and you get very ****** off with it. Then when you get people who are full of them selves keep having digs instead of relising they are in the wrong yes it does work you up. You didn't have to make a comment when i pointed out i was dislexic. Youd have to be pretty thick if you thought that just because i read a word it meant i could spell it as i wouldn't have these problems if i could spell every word i read.

:EDIT: might as well close the thread now as its been totaly trashed by ignorance
