Will Intel blow the GPU market wide open or will they just price accordingly with Nvidia and AMD?

Curious to see what happens with prices when Intel gets cards that can compete with the other two.

It's not if but when as they will compete given enough time time.

Hopefully it's good news for us but I won't hold my breath.

When you say "blow the GPU market wide open", do you mean cheap? AMD already tried that. They became known as the budget brand which did them no favours. The majority chooses the expensive Nvidia every time. That's what GPU competitors get in return for doing us a flavour.
yes thats exactly what I mean.

it's not going to happen right now because of the chip shortage so prices will stay high regardles.

But what about in a year or two when things are back to normal.

My hope is a price war starts, a third player can change things for the consumers benefit.

Intel is a big name and has a huge following, when it starts to eat into Nvidia and AMD's bottom line they need to counter it, hopefully thats with a downward spiral on prices.
