Intel HD 4000 vs nVidia GT610m 2GB

Quick question, If there are two laptops with have the same specs (i5-3210m processor), are there any benefits to getting the one with the nVidia GT610m 2GB rather than the one with the onboard HD 4000 or vice versa (e.g. performance, power consumption/battery life etc)?

You are better off with the HD4000 :/ Just get some fast ram.

Depends if you want to game. if you dont then for the HD4000

The 610m essentialy is a rebaged 520m. The 520m and HD4000 go toe to toe on a lot of games.

i would just go with the HD4000 as it will save power and battery not having to power that dedicated card.

on ome games if you do play them the HD4000 will noticable be worse then the 610m its just up to you if you think its worth the extra drain on power/battery.
