For some reason I cannot get my new system to boot. There is power to everything, no error beeps, my vga bios shows up but not the motherboard bios.

Here are my specs:
- Intel i5 2500k
- Asus P8P67-M Motherboard
- 4gb Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600 MHz
- 7900gs
- Corsair 450w VX

I have cleared cmos, removed the battery, resat the memory in different slots (one stick at a time) but nothing. I have also reseated all other components and done the normal troubleshooting business. Anyone else have any idea's or can tell me the guilty component?

Thanks

Yep fans are doing their thing. As for HDD I have disconnected everything to narrow down the problem, even with everything disconnected (except for the main components) it should boot to bios...at least :s

I appreciated your suggestion rustEswan but it has not worked for me. Still not booting in to bios and still no error beeps which I find inconceivable. Any other suggestions before I RMA the board? Or could the culprit be the i5 2500k?

FIXED: Thought I'd let everyone know that the problem was actually my power supply  Its a Corsair 450w VX which for some reason works fine in two other machines i've tried (sockets 775 and 478) but not the 1155. Tried using 8 pin and 4 pin to get it going and still wouldn't post for me. Popped it back in the old computers and worked fine. Perhaps there's a technical reason why it doesn't work but hopefully this will help someone else experiencing the same problem.
