lookin up on the 2500k it states, memory controller dual channel ddr3 800/1066/1333mhz and my sabertooth p67 supported ram speeds 1600mhz will there be any problem running 1600mhz ram with the 2500k and what does this mean mem controller on the cpu, maybe a daft question but i would like to know, thanx

Yet to hear of anyone not being able to run 1600MHz RAM on an i5 - mine certainly works a treat :)

"Memory controller on the CPU" means exactly that - it's up to the CPU to handle memory access. With older architectures, that was up to the northbridge chip on the motherboard, typically the biggest heatsink in the middle of it. I think it dropped system power draw a few watts when they moved over, otherwise there's no great difference from the outside :)
