So im running a dual monitor setup, and i am using my i5 igpu to run my 2nd monitor.
Setup: Main monitor = discrete GPU (5770)
2nd monitor = i5 igpu
It seems to be working, but i have a problem with my discrete GPU clock speeds.
While i am watching Twitch.tv or Youtube on my 2nd screen (igpu), my main discrete GPU clock speeds seem to fluctuate between 153mhz/600mhz mainly staying at 600mhz while idling in desktop on my main screen. I also noticed when monitoring GPU-Z that my main GPU load is also fluctuating from 0-10% while its idling in desktop, and my igpu is taking a constant 13% load while watching a twitch/youtube on my second screen.
Also should note that when i am using my second monitor (igpu) to watch streams/videos, the animations on my main desktop lag, soon as i stop watching everything is smooth again. So something don't seem right.
I don't understand why running flash streams/videos on my second monitor (igpu) would affect my main discrete GPU clock speeds and GPU load in anyway.
The whole point with this setup was so my igpu would take the load off my main discrete GPU, so i get full performance from it, gaming or just desktop tasks.
Is this running as intended or is there something wrong?
