I remember hearing some people a few years ago saying that the RAID5 on the ICHxR chipsets can mean one day you find your RAID5 volume is nuked...
Is this is a real issue or was it just FUD?
As I'm about to make the jump and make a 8TB (6TB usable) RAID5 volume.
