Intel introduces new quad-core chips

I was thinking about getting a Core 2 Duo, but might just wait for a Quadro instead. Depending on when they are released, and how much they are.

Loads more info on both Intel and AMD chips coming this year. The most exciting bit for me, "it's entirely plausible that Intel could combine two Yorkfield processors at the end of 2007 to create an octo-core, dual-die, 24MB L2 cache monster". WOW!
