Hi, i have a G5 15 5500 laptop which has a killer wifi card, i keep getting prompted that there is a new version of Killer performance suite to install but every time i install it gives an error saying it cannot be installed because the wifi drivers are already installed.

I have a mess about uninstalling everything killer related and now its still similar, now when i try to install it now keeps uninstalling the original version of performance suite then installing the new one but after i restart my laptop the prompt still comes up saying it needs to update.

This is all from the intel driver update ulility.

There used to be a website that was killernetworking as it had all the apps and drivers to download but recently everytime you go to a killer software lik it just takes you to intlels website.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Regards

James

"Killer" is, and always has been, a bit of a joke tbh. At least your module is built on an Intel rather than Atheros chipset. Honest advice lad is to just uninstall everything Killer related (the app, drivers etc) and install the appropriate Intel driver for the underlying chipset. You'll get a better, more stable experience and won't have to worry again.

Edit: To be clear, I know Intel are now offering the Killer driver directly. I'm talking about the underlying chip on the card (yours is based on an Intel AX200). That way, the card functions with a mature Intel driver, Windows handles the TCP/IP stack, and you shouldn't have to deal with this nonsensical update loop any more.
