Am thinking about replacing my CPU & mobo. CPU would be the i2500k (not that I plan overclocking).

Is there any reason to look beyond the Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H? I checked the specs and it will support a dual monitor configuration which is something I might want to do in the future. (a decent second monitor would cost less than the CPU or the mobo, let alone the two togeather!)

My current mobo is Gigabye, so is the one in the pit pony PC I just built for the gliding club accounts, the previous one I build might be, they seem excellent quality to me.

Case is a Fractel Design, CPU is fine, would need 8GB RAM as well. suggestions there?

The main use of my PC other than light-weight stuff is photo editing with Photoshop - I shot RAW with a Pentax K7 which has a 14.6mb sensor, so a PSD with several layers kets quite big, quite fast and joining several of them into a panorama is a lot of work for the PC!
