intel motherboard purchase help

been a life long AMD fan but bulldozer has been a major let down so i think it's time i turned to the dark side..

i know all about AMD boards and chipsets etc but dont have a clue with intel's

i am planning on getting the 2600K and a motherboard which will also be able to take the upcoming 22nm ivy bridge cpu's

are there any decently priced pci 3.0 motherboards out/coming out which i should buy/wait for?

Does it need to be a M-ATX size?

Gen3 so its PCI-E3.0 when a ivybridge CPU is placed in it.

it can be any size. so can any Z68 mobo take ivy bridge when it comes out?

All socket1155 boards, just need a BIOS update, ASUS/MSI/Gigabyte/ECS ect all have announced compatibility and have updates out.

Asus rep said their GEN3 models should start appearing from next week,I've my eyes on this one http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8Z68VGEN3/ .

Don't forget MSI and Asrock Gen3 models that are out now and in stock at OcUK.

another thing that is worrying me is the soon to be released socket 2011, initial impressions suggest that a 6 core chip will not be coming on the socket 1155 platform but on the socket 2011 platform, is it worth waiting for that socket?
