Intel or AMD for my build im sooo torn

Right given the choice would you either go for:

Phenom II X3 + Asus AM3 M4A79 Deluxe 790FX

or

E8400 + Asus P5Q-E

If the rest of the rig looks like:

Antec P182
Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 650W
OCZ Gold Edition 8500 2x 2GB
Evga 9800GTX
60GB Raid 0, 2x Vertex

Cost is pretty similar just really can't decide between AMD or Intel.

I will be hoping to overclock to 4ghz+ after I get some high end air down the line! And the 9800GTX is being knicked from my old PC, im on a budget of around £700 really but I have an X-Fi and optical drives etc. I have a good question though, the PSU is just over £100 but I already have an OCZ Stealth Xtream 650W but it is not modular, do you really need a moduler PSU with this case?
