Intel P4 upgrade question

My Dad has an old Gateway Pentium 4 machine. It has a 1.3ghz cpu and runs on Rambus PC800-45 memory, so I believe this means that the system runs with a 400mhz FSB?

I don't know anything else about the motherboard or cpu he has...is there any guess you could make as to what socket cpu it uses and what the maximum speed cpu it would take if I was to try upgrade?
