Hi,

Following some issues with the current PC I'm looking to upgrade my parents PC. It's just used for Office tasks, internet browsing, e-mail and playing videos.

Which would be best to build the system around, the Intel Pentium Dual Core G4400 or the AMD A10-7860K?

The AMD feels like the better all round system, but it would be more expensive and I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Tried googling, can't find much (the A10-7860K doesn't seem too common).

What do people think?

Thanks for the responses.
I'm very tempted by the Pentium due to price (I'd prefer the AMD chip because I'd like to see how capable it is but not really sure there's any benefit for my parents).

Is it best to get a DDR4 board or DDR3 board? DDR4 is newer, but more expensive, although not much. Plus depending o nthe boards the DDR4 board might be cheaper than the DDR3 board.
I know little about this level of board, what's the difference between H110/H170/B150 boards?

Micro ATX might be best incase they decide to downsize the case at a later date.

Thanks.
