Intel Performance Maximizer (Auto OC)

Intel takes a leaf out of Nvidias book and launches its own Auto OC tool.

It works in a similiar fashion by calculating the highest stable overclock over several passes.

What it does differently though is it rechecks stability and will adjust the OC over time if it needs to

i9 only, though

Where did you read that?

The product brief on their website says it works on any 9th gen or later CPU with a K in the model name as those are unlocked its not limited to i9

They can, they just don't want to because they want you to buy a 9th gen and soon 10th gen
