Hi all,
Just a quick question regarding Intel's power saving features.
I have been playing with my new 3570K and seem to have it stable at 4.5GHz, with 1.3V. HOwever I am a little confused about the following settings:
Initially they were enabled, they are now disabled, although I'm not sure I can see any difference? I thought that Turbo Boost was what allowed the CPU to jump to a higher multiplier, but even when it is disabled I can still hit my x45?
Also, my MSI board has "OC Genie Intel C-State", should this be enabled or disabled and what exactly does it do?
Any information and guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Matt.

- EIST
- Turbo Boost (which automatically disappears in the BIOS if I disable EIST)
