Hi everyone.

I've been linked to this site I'd never heard of before (and good job I did too).

I'm looking at the 'Titan Krypt' gaming PC: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-210-OK&groupid=43&catid=1444&subcat=

Everything looks good but, as I'm told, overclockers actively encourage people to customise their PC's so I was wondering how much more it would cost me to replace the AMD processors for Intel. I'm really not bothered if I have to drop down to 2.83ghz either as, of course, it would still be better than the 2.9 AMD ones.

I'll give overclockers a ring in the morning, but any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

you'd need to replace the motherboard as well as the cpu since the one installed is for an AM3 cpu

Oh I see, didn't even check that.

Hello and welcome to the forums :)

Do you have a budget in mind?

Ocuk do a Intel version which I have linked below:

Thanks a lot!

I have a budget of around 550 tops at the moment, so that's probably a little out of my range, although it is very nice.

I don't particularly mind AMD (probably better value for money than Intel anyway), although a lot more power is needed for every process run.

I guess I'd be looking at around 650 min if I wanted an Intel motherboard along with Intel processors?

Mostly video editing, but need everything to be completely smooth. I've had enough of jumpy preview screens in every single program.

Perhaps a few games but nothing pushing it, the likes of css, tf2 etc.

Video editing is the most strenuous test I'd put it through.
