Hey there peepz, just recently got my PC CPU on liquid
QX6850 3.0ghz
Temp's are insane low, so i've only adjusted the multiplier in BIOS from 9 to 10, giving me an effective 3.33ghz.
I tried multiplier 11, the cpu went to 3.66 no problems, but then locked up in-game. Im guessing i needed to up the Voltage also?
Could someone point me in the right direction?
- Multiplier Adjustment only?
Current Mobo : ASUS Striker II Formula
Sorry for noobie questions, but i wanted to hopefully target someone who's already clocked their QX Cpu under liquid cooling
Or just general consensus on which parts to toggle in the BIOS with regards to obtaining a stable OC
