Intel Rapid Storage Technology Version 10.0.0.1046 WHQL

Intel for whatever reason hasn't been posting updates to their site, but Station-drivers has like 5-6 updated versions since then and all but about 2 are WHQL certified, so are safe to use.

Hi

Has anyone ever had a blue screen error crash when installing these drivers on windows 7? because I got one when installing this driver but on next startup of the OS, the drivers seem to be installed and working fine.

I have also had the same blue screen error crash before when installing certain earlier versions RST drivers.

No problem here with the latest driver! But ATTO benchmark were much the same speed in write & read, no different to the new latest driver from old driver.

Saw this on OCn and downloaded. For reference i'm using a Kingston SSdnow V Series 30GB on an ICH10 controller. My WEI jumped from 6.7-7.4 for the SSD.

So much quicker and snappier, don't care if it's only WHQL, it's good [y]

Best to install these even if your using ahci even with single mechanical hdd, I hate leaving important hardware running on bog standard microsoft drivers.

Keepers ;)

Got 396 vs 398 with the older drivers but this is 7 months later & the drive is 60% full so with more free space it would be slightly faster as they always degrade over time.
