Intel Recall

I bought my core i7 2600k on the 10th febuary, I've heard rumours of this range being faulty. Do I need to send it back for replacement?

so there is no need to replace the cpu and this fault is only related to the motherboards?

As luck would have it I left my motherboard to last for order and haven't bought it yet, I am getting either the asus p8p67 pro or the sabertooth p67 in the next 2 weeks. So is it the rev3 boards thats are the new ones?

log on to overclockers and get an rma for it, they should replace it for you with b3 board

haha I certaintly did. I also had 2 numbers and the bonus ball on the lottery this week and another 2 numbers that were both only 1 number away so guess thats karma. The things I could have done with £100,000 :/
