Is there an Intel rep on these forums - getting very frustrated trying to get my 5960X exchanged through the Intel swap out insurance - they just don't answer or update my online claim - can anybody assist me please?

What is the intel swap out insurance?

It is actually the Intel Performance Tuning plan. I couldn't actually remember the exact name when I posted.

If its anything like that Intel Performance Tuning plan they were offering a couple of years back you should be able to just get in touch with them using the normal chat tool bud.

I used it once to replace my previous 4960X - first one I had couldn't do stock frequency without nearly 1.3v! and it couldn't run 4 sticks of memory at anything higher than 1333Mhz so I claimed on it. Replacement was awesome - 4.5Ghz @ 1.24v with 2400Mhz on ram no probs lol.

There is someone on here I'm pretty sure works for Intel, or at least a subcontractor.

I hope so - could do with some assistance to get things moving.

Finally managed to get this sorted and Intel will be sending me a replacement. The only problem is I have to send mine back first before they send replacement, so could be without my no 1 machine for a while.
