Hi all,

Looking to build another gaming pc.

I've made a list of the basic parts I'll need and just wanting to check it will all be compatible and if anyone has any recommendations.

EVGA GeForce GTX 770 Superclock ACX 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (02G-P4-2774)

Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - OEM

Samsung 120GB SSD 840 SATA 6Gb/s Basic - (MZ-7TD120BW)

Corsair Builder Series CX 750W Modular '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply (CP-9020061-UK)

MSI B85-G43 Intel B85 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard

XSPC X2O 750 Dual Bayres/Pump (Black) V4

Patriot Viper "Black Mamba" Generation 3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (PV38G160C9K)

XSPC EX240 Multiport Radiator

Aqua Computer Cuplex Kryos Delrin for 775 / 1155 / 1150 / 1156 / 1366 - G1/4"

Any other recommendations welcome. Already got compression fittings and plugs for the loop.

if get all that from oc it comes to 1241.82 but ideally looking to get it all for £1,200, could possibly stretch to £1,250. Mainly wanting to make sure all the above is compatible and should run well together.

Drop the i7 for an i5. You'll not notice any difference for gaming. The motherboard is a cheap and nasty choice and micro ATX, go for a Z87 motherboard instead.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - OEM £191.99
1 x Gigabyte Z87-D3HP Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £109.99
Total : £312.78 (includes shipping : £9.00).

Ok thanks, i've replaced the i5 and processor as suggested, any other recommendations?

All looks good apart from that, although the W/C stuff goes over my head a bit.

I like the case and am thinking about one for my next build :D

ok thanks for the suggestions, considering downgrading the gtx 770 to a gtx 670 which will save me about £100 which could be spent on a decent mouse and keyboard. any ideas if it would still run games like black ops 2, bf3 etc easily?

Or, you could go for a 760 for about the same price as the 670.

YOUR BASKET
1 x MSI GeForce GTX 760 OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Card £215.99
1 x KFA2 GeForce GTX 760 EX OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with FREE GPU Keyring £215.99
1 x Asus GeForce GTX 760 DirectCUII OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £209.99
Total : £653.36 (includes shipping : £9.50).

Surprised, on paper it looks as if the 760 has a slight edge.
Thanks for the correction.:)
Slightly faster stock core clock than a 670 mate, highest on the 670's are 980mhz. Think the 760 also has a few less steam processors than the 670's. The msi 670 linked above is voltage unlocked, so it will oc better than other models.
