intel stock overclocking and stock cooler

Looking into the intel e5200 hoping to oc to above 3ghz if possible. I've been out of the game for a while, so I'm not fully up to speed.

Question, have times moved on such that the stock cooler with these chips are good and silent?

Or should I still accompany it with the Scythe Ninja II?

Also, are these chips easy to oc?

for a mild OC, the stock cooler is fine esp if temps arent a issue for you.

personally i say get a 3rd party cooler and squeeze every last Hz out of the cpu if you can
