Looking to build a low powered HTPC.
Ive read that the power consumption of the T-series Intel CPUs is not much different from a standard model when idling (a couple of watts), and when using only 1 core can actually be higher due to more aggressive TurboBoost!
If this is the case then i guess id be better off with a more powerfull model, as it will only consume more power under heavy loads.
What do you reckon??
FYI, Ive got a 120W power supply. How much power am i likely to have left after powering an ASUS P8Z77-I Deluxe, 8GB Corsair Vengeance, Sandisk Extreme SSD and WD Caviar Green??
