TAT is Intel software which means it only works on Intel chipsets.

Huh? I've used TAT on Nvidia chipset boards, last one i used was an eVGA Nforce 680i Sli board. I've had that same error with an MSI 975X board, so that rules out chipset, never found a solution. Btw, what version of windows is it? TAT gave me that same error on VISTA RC1 as well with a DS3.

Well, reports going round the net are that its Intel made and therefore Intel based, I have tried 2 nvidia chipsets and had the error message listed in the original post, I now have a 965 Commando and it works fine, pardon me for making a mistake (Have your rolleyes back  lol) ;)

Well it definitely works fine for me, so must be something else that's causing the error. Thanks for the  back :D Somebody with the Asus P5N-E SLi Plus was saying that it was incompatible with their board, which uses the nforce 650i, so maybe it's just picky about exactly which chipsets it'll work with.

Lol, from the readme :-
Code:
The Intel Thermal Analysis Tool supports only Intel chipsets.
Also it states that's unable to monitor the processor C-States on HT technology enabled processors, when I try to run TAT I get an 'incompatible processor' message with my P4 3.0Ghz HT.

Seeing as the readme appears to be less than 100% correct is there anyone out there who has TAT working on a P4 with HT or is that one bit that is correct?
