Intel TAT on a laptop

Has anyone tried running Intel Thermal Analysis Tool on their Core 2 Duo laptop?

I have recently bought an Acer 5685 WLMi and when I did the CPU load test, the temperatures gradually crept up to 90 degrees C before I stopped it, in fear of melting my laptop Are laptop CPU's supposed to run this hot? Or is TAT reading it incorrectly?

Yep, Dell Latitude D620, mine goes upto 70c before the fans cuts in, 90c seems a little to hot.
