Intel to cut prices by 60% on july 23rd

I bought an A64 venice 3000+ for £70 oem, and an opteron 146 for £105; both have been selling for much inflated prices ever since with the recent exception of the venice which is about the same price. 6 months on and venice is still more or the same.

The top end chip is £500+, they dont make their money of a few high end chips is the volume chips which make money; so this will be coming down especially since conroe whips its behind.
