Intel to use TSMC 7NM for DG2 GPU??

Why not use their 5nm node which is due next year?
That would make more sense than this, not that it seems likely.
Because everybody's going to be using 5nm. Apple are already moving the new iPhone to 5nm and Zen 4 will be 5nm as well. Right there that's a massive chunk of TSMC's capacity, is there enough left over for Intel to get decent supply out?

But you don't need cutting edge process to get decent products. 9900KS is probably the limit of what 14nm can do and still be a "decent" product. Ryzen 2000 is still great on 12nm. There's no reason DG2 would suffer from being on TSMC's 7nm, hell it'd be very mature by the time Intel join the fray. Plus AMD won't be using it anywhere near as much for CPUs since Zen 3 is on 7nm EUV/6nm (or whatever TSMC are calling it today).
