Intel Turbo Boost not engaging in BF2042 (i7 9700k)

As per the thread title, Turbo Boost is not engaging when I play Battlefield 2042. It is enabled in BIOS and works fine in other games (I have used CPUID Monitor to record it boosting from 3.4ghz base to 4.6ghz in game).

For those of you that have played BF2042, you will know that the game suffers from terrible frame rate issues and it appears to be a CPU issue rather than GPU (All ultra settings vs low, with DLSS on or off, doesn't matter - FPS stays the same). The Turbo Boost issue is therefore really important as this is the current bottleneck that is lowering my FPS and wasting my RTX 3080.

Does anyone know of a way of forcing Turbo Boost on?

Problem sorted - Windows had power setting on 'Balanced' which I assume mean that because BF2042 was pulling so much power already that it wouldn't go into Turbo Boost. Setting it to max performance sorted this.

the one thing to think on is just because they have an ultra setting it doesnt meen anything out now can play it

but most setting your right dont make much difference
