INTEL TURBO MEMORY CONTROLLER

I have a Acer Aspire 5920g and have just fitted a 2gig intel memory controller but on start up all i get is a blue screen, after about half a dozen times it finally gets there, when i look into the device manager everything is working ok all drivers up to date, then i go into all programs to make sure it is enabled, there are two items to enable but i can only enable one, can anyone help me with this problem.
