intel Viiv/media centre

Im getting a new PC soon and it comes with the intel Viiv and also media centre. I always use XP, so will this be any different for games? Is media centre relatively easy to negotiate for usual 'add hardware, configure controllers' etc?

Media Center is not really a completely different operating system - it's just XP Pro.

There is an extra application bundled with it called Media Center that just runs ontop of this as and when you need to use it. It's really great for controlling music/tv/dvd/video from a distance - it's hard to beat, really.
