Intel Vs AMD

Im torn....and confused......AMD is massively cheaper, but is that just an image thing or are they genuinely much slower than intel?

e8400 is 3GHz, and Athlon x2 6000 is 3GHz.....does the e8400 really justify the £50 price hike?

i know lots of people are loyal to one brand or the other, but I have absolutely no loyalty, just hunting for a good deal!

any words of wisdom would be appreciated!

wow....just had a look at that link and im pretty sure im gona spend a few more pounds and get an intel dual core now!!

......and im just going to go post in the motherboard forum to ask what MoBo i should get for an e8400!!
