just wondering with the 3 year warranty with retail chips, how is the warranty calculated? is it from date of purchase, or like gigabyte off a serial number to work out date of manufacture?

It's from the date of purchase. You will need the origional receipt to start an RMA along with the heatsink.

ok thanks :) hoping to order mine just wanted to check before it did.
does anyone know if you order on a saturday, does it get shipped that day for delivery on monday, or will it not be shipped until monday?

oh i just placed the order but its being shipped with DX Secure :(

I assume that's the free delivery option.

You would have to pay for delivery with DPD.

I think it's £9.60, including VAT, for just a processor. It could be more if you've ordered other stuff.

You could always give OcUK a ring if you want to try and change.

yeh it was £8 delivery with DPD. i have dropped them a message in the customer services section, at work so not allowed to use the phone :(

do you know what DX secure are like as a company? we use DPD here all the time and have found them really good, and have only ever had DPD from ocuk. dont want a £162 broken box.

better to be safe than sorry though, so its coming with dpd, and should be here monday :)

do i have to register it on intels site or just keep the reciept somewhere safe?
