hi there can someone please recomend me to a motherboard to get with the INtel Conroe e6600, it got to be SLI and what RAM would be worty while to get a hold of

I'm in the same boat with speccing a new rig and I have selected the following components so far:

E6600

Asus P5N32-E SLi nForce 680 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

although this is subject to change.

I have decided that this would give me a good backbone of a system for say 4 years before I needed to upgrade in the future and when I eventually upgrade to Vista this machien should fly.

I am looking at the P5N32-E board but, it's the memory question that is proving difficult to solve , I know that some Asus boards can be "picky" about the type of chips so, hope someone can post what they are successfully using.

I do think it's a good purchase at present. :)
