Intel will launch its first dGPU line-up starting at $200

The 5700/XT should be a 200/250 GBP card. So much so that AMD had it once listed as 690/680. If you're going to replace the previous series (580/570) at least match the price.

Lastly, before the **** hit the fan with pricing, Ti version of cards could be had for 600/650 GBP at one point. Now it's double that firgure and for what? There is zero value to be had here in this segment.

Only a moron would be happy with the way pricing is today and personally i won't entertain such lunacy pricing schemes from either firm.

I agree. But we have to face facts, prices went up, and prices are not coming back down again. Prices very rarely ever come back down again, unless the hardware isn't selling, and as Nvidia have proven... it's still selling.

Maybe the next gen consoles will force a change of direction, but I doubt it. Miners have a lot to answer for... you know who you are!

Exactly, i think miners had a lot of impact with the way pricing of GPU are today. Sadly.

The thing is, if prices keep going up and the customer keeps on being taken for a fool, at what point do you stop investing in the platform and jump ship? I've already stopped buying PC games as a result of the present ponzi scheme going on.
